BUZZCOCKS
Formed in Manchester in 1976, Buzzcocks’ influence on punk and independent music cannot be overstated. With classics like Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve) and What Do I Get?, Spiral Scratch sparked a revolution and paved the way for generations of DIY musicians and independent labels and defined the sound, the spirit and the very essence of late 70s British punk.
After losing the founder member and former frontman Pete Shelley in 2018, co-founder Steve Diggle vowed to keep the Buzzcocks flame alive through writing, recording and touring with the same passion and purpose that had always defined the group. Nearly five decades on, new album Attitude Adjustment is a celebration of resilience, creativity and pure rock ’n’ roll energy that shows that Buzzcocks remain the musical masters of hitting hard, hooking deep and moving fast.
